We the creators of MiniVanGundy would like to announce that the recent comments of Stan Van Gundy questioning the basketball talent of Scottie Pippen in no way shape or form reflect the thoughts or opinions of our blog. We have the utmost respect for the career achievements and talents of Scottie Pippen and recognize his place as one of the greatest basketball players of all-time. Furthermore, the purpose of this statement is in no way shape or form to disparage the coaching acumen or ability of Stan Van Gundy. We at MiniVanGundy are certain that his resume and achievements in the NBA would be comparable had he never been blessed to coach transcendent basketball talents such as Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard. This will be our only statement on the matter. We wish Mr. Van Gundy the best of luck in all of his future endeavors and especially would like to wish his brother Jeff Van Gundy the best of luck in any future opportunities he may deem fit in returning to coach in the NBA, therefore freeing a captive audience from his attempts at basketball analysis and humor.
